Overview

A collaborative presentation platform that combines interactive presentations, real-time collaboration and live communication into a single product experience.

The challenge

A presentation tool becomes a different product the moment more than one person is inside it. Editing, presence, and live video all have to feel like one surface — not three apps stacked on a slide.

What I worked on

I set the project up from the ground up and built the interactive presentation creator: the editing workflows, the collaborative layer, and the live communication path. That included Liveblocks for real-time collaboration and Dyte / Cloudflare RealtimeKit for video, alongside the UI complexity that comes with an editor people actually use together.

Architecture / engineering

A Next.js application with a presentation editor at the center. Liveblocks carries presence and collaborative state. Video sits on Dyte and Cloudflare RealtimeKit so a session can move from editing into live communication without changing product. The interface has to keep those systems quiet enough that the presentation stays the point.

What I learned

Real-time products fail when collaboration is treated as a feature on top. It has to be in the information architecture from the first commit.
